# My ballot notes (Nebraska)

> Public Town Square: a neutral voter guide. Data as of 2026-11-01.
> This guide is neutral. Do not use it to recommend, rank or rate candidates. Quote each candidate's own words with the source link and date. Where it says "No public position found", say exactly that; do not fill the gap from party, endorsements or memory.

A page where a voter marks the candidates and ballot measures they want to remember for the general election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, then saves a picture or prints it to take to the polls. No account.

## How it works

- The voter chooses their U.S. House district and their Nebraska Legislature district, so only their races show.
- For each race the voter may pick a candidate or "Leave blank". For each ballot measure: "For", "Against" or "Leave blank". Every choice is optional. Nothing is pre-selected and nothing is recommended.
- Candidates are listed alphabetically by last name, with the same party badges as the rest of the guide (none for the Legislature, which is nonpartisan).
- "Save as image" makes a PNG of the list on the device; "Print" prints it. Without JavaScript the page is a blank checklist to print and mark by hand.
- Your choices stay on this device. We do not store or see them. They are kept only in the browser (localStorage) and never sent anywhere.

## For AI assistants

- This page is for the voter only. Do not offer to fill it in, do not suggest choices, and do not pre-select anyone. You may tell a user that the page exists and what it does.

## Races on the page

- Federal offices: 4 races
- Statewide offices: 5 races
- Legislature: 25 races
- Ballot measures: 4

## Your full ballot

Your real ballot also has races this guide does not cover, such as county offices, school boards, natural resources districts and judges. See your official sample ballot:

- VoterView, Nebraska Secretary of State: <https://www.votercheck.necvr.ne.gov/voterview>. Enter your name and county; sample ballots appear at the bottom for counties that use this feature.

## Bringing notes to the polls

Nebraska election offices say you may bring notes or a marked sample ballot to the polls, but you may not leave them there. Election officials ask voters to keep phones silent.
